A Big Thank You
To all the organisers and helpers at the race yesterday,
I would just like to say thank you for a wonderful race experience yesterday. It was one of those races I will always remember. The atmosphere at each water point was great and it reminded me of Comrades. It got chills every time they encourage me to keep moving. Everyone helper with an orange shirt was friendly and helpful.
I was however disappointed at the behaviour of the runners when the busses arrived late to take us to the start and I refused to get onto an overloaded bus. Ironically the 10 of us who decided to wait could then choose which out of the three empty busses we are going to use. Life is not perfect and I think it takes a lot to organise an event like this.
Well done to all of you. I will cherish my memories of this race.

Best of luck with the continued sponsorship and management of this once great race, I trust that it will be restored to its former glory. I fully intend entering next year now that I have witnessed 1st hand the level of organisation that applied this year.
