The Justice League Virtual Run – Aquaman Edition held in Bloemfontein brought together the Toyota Cheetahs rugby team, local families, and children to support Head Start Kids, a non-profit improving early childhood nutrition. This third race in the superhero-themed series (after Superman and Wonder Girl) featured 2.5 km and 5 km runs, promoting health, unity, and social responsibility.
Players described the event as fun and refreshing, helping them train while raising awareness about stunting and iron deficiency among children under five. Their participation as local “superheroes” inspired community involvement and highlighted the role of athletes in driving social impact.
